Doda District information, Facts, statistics, population, Density, Area, literacy rate, headquarters, Sex Ratio • For a long time, Doda was a part of the Kishtwar  and Bhaderwah principalities. In 1931, it was amalgamated with the Udhampur  district and in 1948, Doda became a separate  district. • It shares its borders with the Kathua district of  Jammu and Kashmir in the South,  Udhampur and Rampur districts in the West,  Himachal Pradesh in the East and Kishtwar  and Anantnag districts in the North. • It is the largest district of the Jammu region. The  district mainly has an agro-based industry,  readymade garments embroidery industry,  leather industry and wooden-based furniture  industries. •Of the total population, 53.82% are Muslims,  45.77% are Hindus, 0.12% are Christians  and 0.10% are Sikhs. •Main languages are Kashmiri (41.59%),  Bhadrawahi (20.00%), Gojri (7.37%), Hindi  (5.20%), Dogri (3...
